A personal note from me, Brian Glenn
Hypnotherapist Match is a new directory, and I believe it is important to be open about that.
My name is Brian Glenn. I am the founder of Innervisions School of Clinical Hypnosis and HypnoBuddy, and I have worked in the hypnotherapy field for many years. I officially retired in February 2026
Still wanting to make a difference, and support hypnothrapists, I created Hypnotherapist Match. I wanted to build a clearer, more useful way for members of the public to find a hypnotherapist who feels like the right fit for them.
This is not a long established directory pretending to have been around forever. It launched in May, and it is still growing.
No inflated claims
I do not want to make unrealistic promises.
Being listed on Hypnotherapist Match does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, or a specific ranking on Google. No honest directory can promise that.
What I can say is that the site is being actively developed, promoted and improved.
How the site is being promoted
Traffic is being built in several ways, including:
- Search engine optimisation, so the site can grow naturally over time.
- Paid Facebook advertising, to bring more people to the directory.
- Relevant Facebook posting, where appropriate.
- Promotion through my existing hypnotherapy related platforms, including Innervisions and HypnoBuddy.
- AI search visibility, as the site appears to perform well in ChatGPT style search results, which is becoming increasingly important as more people use AI tools alongside Google.
In plain English
This is a new platform.
It is being promoted.
It is being improved.
It is being built properly.
And I will always aim to be open about what it is, what it does, and what it cannot guarantee.

The aim of Hypnotherapist Match is simple.
To create a professional, ethical and transparent directory that helps potential clients find suitable hypnotherapists, while giving hypnotherapists another credible place to be seen online.
